The Kremlin and Red Square
Kremlin is a historic fortified complex and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. It was rebuilt many times and up to the 14th century, the site was known as the 'grad of Moscow'. The word "kremlin" was first recorded in 1331.
The Kremlin and Red Square are both part of the UNESCO list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites. Besides that Kremlin is the home of the Russian government

State Tretyakov Gallery
It boasts the largest collection of Russian art in the world. This museum was created by the brothers Pavel and Sergey Tretyakov in 1856. The founder is Moscow's industrialist Pavel Tretyakov, who acquired works by Russian artists, hoping to create a public museum of national art. His dream came true! There are two separate buildings: the Old Building of the Tretyakov Gallery. Inside you can find Russian icons and paintings ranging in date from the 11th to the early 20th century. Russian's 20th-century art is displayed in the New Building.
Here are a few of masterpieces that you can find there: «Morning in a Pine Forest» by Ivan Shishkin, «the Apotheosis of War» by Vasily Vereshchagin, «Bogatyrs» by Viktor Vasnetsov, «the Unknown Woman by Ivan Kramskoy», «Bathing of the Red Horse» by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, «the Rooks Have Come Back» by Alexei Savrasov, «Demon Seated» by Mikhail Vrubel.

The Museum of Cosmonautics

Opened in 1981 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the first flight into space made by Yury Gagarin, Among the 85,000 objects in the museum's collection are the first Soviet rocket engine, the moon rover Lunokhod, the first Soviet satellite, the personal belongings of the first Soviet astronaut, specimens from the moon and propaganda posters reflecting the "space race", sections dedicated to the International Space Station.
