Yekaterinburg located in the middle of the Eurasian continent. Yekaterinburg is a large modern and actively developing city, which is the scientific, cultural and industrial capital of the Urals. In Yekaterinburg there are many architectural monuments of past centuries. But the cultural development of the city didn't stop there and new sights continue to appear in it. For example, in 2003 the Temple on Blood was opened on the site of the demolished house of the Ipatievs, where the royal family had been shot. Also, in 2011, the 188-meter skyscraper, the northernmost in the world, and the only one outside the MKAD, was built.

A public, cultural and educational center opened in 2015, in Yekaterinburg where President Yeltsin's political career began.
This is a unique cultural and social institution, including a museum of the first president of the Russian Federation, an educational center and library, a children's center, an event area and a conference hall.
On of the most interesting parts of the center is the Center's Art Gallery. The mission is to engage the broader public in a dialogue on Ural, Russian, and international art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Two of the Gallery's projects have won the Innovation Prize, Russia's state-awarded prize for contemporary art.
