Yekaterinburg located in the middle of the Eurasian continent. Yekaterinburg is a large modern and actively developing city, which is the scientific, cultural and industrial capital of the Urals. In Yekaterinburg there are many architectural monuments of past centuries. But the cultural development of the city didn't stop there and new sights continue to appear in it. For example, in 2003 the Temple on Blood was opened on the site of the demolished house of the Ipatievs, where the royal family had been shot. Also, in 2011, the 188-meter skyscraper, the northernmost in the world, and the only one outside the MKAD, was built.
