The uniqueness of the safari park is that only the animals that live in Primorsky Krai can be seen here. An exception is the new Park of Lions, where you can see exotic wild cats. In total, more than 70 animal species are represented in the safari park.
One of the main tasks of the park is to help animals with problems: those left without parents, sick, injured, who cannot survive alone in nature. The animals are returned to their natural habitat after recovery and successful rehabilitation. The safari park in Vladivostok participates in international programs for breeding Amur tigers and Far Eastern leopards, and also helps to preserve other rare animal species.
The park gained world fame in 2015 thanks to the incredibly popular story about the friendship of the tiger "Amur" and the goat "Timur". Everyone was talking about how a goat became a tiger's friend at the safari park instead of being eaten. Timur was able to defend himself and since then has lived in an aviary with "Amur" for some time.

The botanical garden in Vladivostok has a territory of 169 ha, most of it is occupied by vegetation typical of this natural zone - cedar, ash, fir, etc. Of particular interest is a collection of decorative plants: chrysanthemums, irises, phlox, roses and other. The total number of plants in the garden – 3100 species. Studies in the field of botany, genetics, ecology are also conducted here, 7 scientific laboratories operate here.
