The uniqueness of the safari park is that you can only see the animals that live in the Primorye region. The exception to this is the new Lion Park, where exotic wild cats can be seen. In total, more than 70 animal species are represented in the safari park. One of the main tasks of the park is to help animals with problems: those who have been left without parents, the sick, the injured who cannot survive in nature on their own. The animals are returned to their natural habitat after recovery and successful rehabilitation. The safari park in Vladivostok participates in international programs for breeding Amur tigers and Far Eastern leopards, and also helps conserve other rare species.The park gained world fame in 2015 thanks to the incredibly popular story in the media about the friendship between the tiger "Amur" and the goat "Timur". Everyone talked about how in the safari park a goat became a tiger's friend instead of being eaten. Timur was able to defend himself and since then has lived in an aviary with "Amur" for some time.

The botanical garden in Vladivostok has a territory of 169 hectares, most of which is covered with vegetation typical of this natural zone - cedar, ash, fir, etc. Of particular interest is a collection of decorative plants: chrysanthemums, irises, phlox, roses and other. The total number of plants in the garden - 3100 species. Here too, studies in the field of botany, genetics and ecology are carried out, 7 scientific laboratories are active here.
